If you feel like Uber is trying to screw you over, I would get a lawyer and not talk to anyone else without your lawyer present. The last thing you want is for Uber to not cover it and throw you under the bus. It sounds like you did everything correctly and shouldn't be held accountable for someone else actions which led to them hurting themselves. Especially if you have video, it will show that you are not liable and didn't commit any actions which led to the pax being hurt. Hope everything works out for you.
Pax injuried while entering to your car
Lady pax P....(just intitial for legal/privacy reason) bumped her finger while entering to my car this morning at Fairmount hotel. She did swear at me and got out. I had to end the trip asking Uber “do not charge rider”. 3 hours later, I received an e-mail from Uber saying my account was being held while investigating the accident. I had to fill out their form saying my side of the event. Of course I had dash cam that could hopefully save my day and week. Someone picked up the lady pax at Fairmount hotel today? If so, what was her situation? Thanks folks.

If it does it by turning off the camera when it decides the car battery is getting low then it's not much use as a camera after that.People that need to know "how" crack me up.
I don't care HOW, just make it work.
