No wonder popular cities are cracking down on Uber and Lyft. You guys are giving us a bad name. I see it all day! You pull over wherever you like blocking traffic. You sometimes pull at an angle taking up two lanes! I saw two cars yesterday blocking ramp entrances with cars trying to get out and enter and you didn't care or move. How rude!!
Yesterday one Uber/Lyft driver was in the middle lane on 7th and Hennepin and took a right turn into the right turn lane and cashed into a car making a right. No passmgers, so without rideshare coverage you'll be making a fraudulent insurance claim. Serves you right.

Seriously get a clue, be aware of your surroundings and find a place to pull over safety and park and stop grid locking the city.
Never double park between rush hour.
It's no surprise now I'm stuck and see the car causing the jam and finally get to it and see that is an Uber. Omg!!! How frustrating.
Don't pick up passengers in "No loading/No stopping" zones.
Text or call your passenger and inform them to be ready. Even if it's half a block away, make them walk!
If I can do it, so can you.
I see it really becoming a problem and the city is to start issuing tickets. You also make it hard for the rest of us trying to get to our pickup. Sometimes I see up to theee cars double parking on 7th of both sides and completely causing backup.
STOP!
Use common sense.
And I see a lot of you taking street hails. People coming out of bars and hotels. Stop!
Some of you do it right in front of other cabbies and I see them yelling at you and ya just laugh. Well your not a taxi don't have insurance if you do that.
Then again this is prob falling on deaf ears as smart drivers follow this forum and the clueless ones are the ones creating traffic jams. If you see others doings this, let them know to follow the traffic rules.

Glad to see you knew everything right out of the gate. Common sense? No...I've seen some of your posts. Try again.

Hmm you learn not to block traffic when you get your license. It's illegal. Being an Uber driver doesn't give you the right to block lanes especially during rush hour. And blocking bikes lanes is also against the law but all I see is Uber drivers doing just that ALL DAY! I'll just start taking pics of morons and post their plates here.

Just because they have an UberLyft sticker doesn't mean they are online. And cabbies double park all the time. And its hard to take your posts seriously given the multiple instances of times youve given false information.

Straight out the MLPS ordnance for Taxicabs: 341.250.7 " No taxicab driver shall: Block the normal flow of traffic, except while parallel parking or actively and lawfully loading and unloading passengers". Therefore, a cab can block traffic when unloading / loading passengers. Uber and Lyft are not cabs. Remember that Uber paid a lot of money to the city council to not be considered cabs ...
