I kept the old Uber app on my iPhones for over a year because it was much simpler to look at the ants and surges. Last week I noticed it would constantly crash upon opening on both phones.
I am seriously considering buying another used phone to run the old Uber app as I have definitely used it to predict surges and get there before the surge starts. I could still do it with the new app, but it is harder to do it while driving.
As a side benefit, a third phone would also help me in Pokemon Go raids.
Is anyone successfully running the old app on their phone now? What kind of phone, what phone OS version, and what Uber app version?
