I kinda hope it’s me tbh. I am already in isolation as My roommate is stuck in Peru and not making any money. If I get the virus I will just do what I currently do which is nothing for 2 week and get paid for that.

Without the virus I will lose most my savings by the time I have to pay rent and will be in some hard times especially if this lockout continues next month.

Really sad it came down to this, Uber should just give us 2 weeks paid sick leave , even if it isn’t for the whole month it will at least help with some bills

Uber makes u jump thru hoops to get your 2 weeks paid. You will need a Govt Employee or Law Enforcemnt agency to complete some bs request thru the uber law enforcement portal lol. Good luck

Best case is there's 8 weeks in this thing till the US is over the hump. That's if the shutdown rolls out nationwide this week. If we don't and we follow the Italian model then it'll go badly.
Plan accordingly. If you're truly broke you're going to have to pack shelves overnight for Safeway for a couple months. Of course if u get sick doing it they'll drop u and another desperate guy will step into your shoes.
