OK 28 days past. Everyone wins a 2star

I have taken note over the past month who tips who does not.
Today I went on Uber app and revised my ratings for every single passenger who does not tip.
I did not one star because I don't want Uber to say they will not be matched with you again as if something horrific happened.
Also I don't expect any retribution for my actions as this rating has occurred long after I've driven them.
No explanations just changed the rating.

I'm hoping for some constructive criticism on how to make change here and produce more money for rideshare. gas prices are through the roof because of the hurricanes. If you drive surge passenger feel like they already getting the screws so what to do.

I thought you quit and doing online poker?

Honestly? I have no time to go back a month to see who tipped and who didn't and change their ratings.

Driving is still enjoyable on nights after I grind. Surge popping up and nothing else going on. I drive.
Also destination driving too.
I got a ride from sands all the way home. Brag!
In total 500 bucks over month and a half. So not much

Your Right... "there will be no retribution against you". They will take it out on other drivers who drove them recently... But that's the other guys fault not yours... who cares right?... Now you want help? My "constructive criticism" is maybe you should think about the drivers whose ratings you might have hurt. If your going to 2 star every pax who does not tip own up to it. Don't hide it and make others take the hit. Hope this helps you... something to think about

This is the problem with ratings. It's a flawed and unfair system on both ends. Pax down rate drivers for things beyond the drivers control. Drivers down rate pax for stupid things.

I didn't get into this business to earn tips. If I get them I see it as a bit of a bonus. I earn tips every day, anywhere from $2 to $50. The only pax I down rate for not tipping are those long EWR trips where I load/unload or pax who promised a tip and days later I'm still waiting.

I can see a change in the whole rating system with the 180 thing.

Too many idiotic posts here, that's why I try not to contribute anything to this forum, like this chap who wants to change everyone's rating who does not tip, thus making it really difficult for us to detect who the real PITA customers are.

Even if every driver rated every passenger, who did not tip, a 1 star, what exactly is achieved? 95% of the of the riders do not tip anyway. And there are enough desperate drivers to take them. So what exactly is accomplished?
Are you just going to sit on your ass all day waiting for that 5% of the passengers who actually tip? And they would most likely tip just $1.

The OP is so smart that he is not. You can rate a pox anything you care to rate them, that does not stop Goober from pairing you with them. The only way for that to happen is a specific request to Goober to never be paired again. That is the main misconception between Goober and Lyft. Lyft, anything under 3 stars will keep you from being paired again. Goober don't give a hoot about the ratings.

What do you put when Uber asks why you changed the ratings?

There are some people who will never tip. And there are also some people who will always tip. The ones in middle have varying levels of tipping for "good service" which is different for different people. Cie la vie.

I'm still surprised at the type of people who tip and those who don't or worse say they will but don't. It's never who i expect..

The wealthy RARELY tip in my experience. People over 60 usually do as do bartenders and hair stylists. The working poor will sometimes tip, but ya never really know. Since in-app tipping started I'm up to about 30% of my pax do tip.

You are absolutely right I didn't even think about my passive aggressive actions having a negative effect on the drivers that are out there everyday.

The system truly is flawed my ratings have dropped in spite of the rates not going up it's a frustrating process all around. I provide fantastic service and my rating is plummeted and no tips so whatever

Either try working different areas or maybe different hours.

I do realize that I might have been able to make my point by taking a softer approach... I broke my own rule and made a quick response to your post...
I dont care about ratings, I dont care about what they see on my profile, I only care about the G's.
When Uber asks you why you want to change the rating, what are you going to tell them? I'm just curious.
My answer to them is to change it to "SUZE" status!

What does the G stand for: Greatness?

Why don't you just rate everyone 2* from the get-go, unless they cash tip you, then go back and INCREASE their rating if they tip you in the app...much less work involved.
