I'm hearing the checks are bouncing from rust. They've done this in the past. Waiting to see if it clears my bank.

My Asian friend cashed a settlement check today at the check-cashing store in Dorchester, amounting to about 5k; he has been driving Uber Black since 2013.
No problem at all.
He needs money right away to go to Australia for vacation. He does not want the bank to delay.
I said Why is he stupid paid $150cashing fee?
He is leaving tomorrow and needs money right away.
It was on the Facebook Uber page. Get your own receipts. Could care less if you believe me or notHearing?
Link please... bring receipts or don't bother.
You obviously haven't read up on Rust Consulting. Google is free. Also check BBBSomething false or misleading on FaceBook?
Stop it!

Looks like that guy will uber until he hits 75 years old. The word of wisdom is he should have achieved financial independence 25-30 years ago rather than making peanuts at an old age now. Bad financial decisions have consequences.george1970j said:You just old
They administered settlement payments during the foreclosure crisis many years ago, and there was an issue of many checks bouncing because of some sort of an administrative error. The company ended up reissuing new checks to everybody affected. So they didn’t even bounce due to lots of money. This other dude is just clueless or intentionally spreading false information. Either that, or he didn’t get any payment at all, and is jealous of everybody else. Probably took the lazy way out and collected unemployment during the pandemic time in question. In doing some searching about on Rust Consulting it looks to me like administering legal settlements is their thing. And on a very large scale. It looks like they are the go to organization for this. When military persons had their homes taken in foreclosure there was a legal action. The government hired Rust to handle the disbursement of the funds.

I would not say there is anything corrupt or incompetent is Rust. It's just a huge project they handle and things will go wrong.
