thinking about coming to Denver, get out of the heat and humidity , want to check out some dispensaries , a water park with cocktails, a mountain sled ride place, and maybe just chill downtown in a nice area with good restaurants , totally want to avoid having a rental car and will be riding Uber / Lyft the whole time, might want to play a round of golf but I know how to scoop that out, any ideas ? resorts or nice hotels, got about a $3,000 budget, all help is appreciated or is there a better place you would recommend like, Steamboat, Vail, Portland ?

Uber/Lyft can take you all of those places, except Steamboat, there is no service to there, you might get someone to make the 3+ hr drive to drop you, but you'll be on your own to get back. Fare guesstimates, Downtown to Vail will be around $100 to $130 each way.

Are you sure there isn't uber service in Steamboat, Colorado? My heat map has showed surges there before, specifically on the fourth of July weekend.

Maybe I'm wrong, when I was up there on business last week, it showed no cars available for any class, but I see on the Cities search that it's listed, maybe very few cars.

Looking at the weather reports for Vail/Breckenridge area and Steamboat Springs today as of 630pm. Vail/Breck was 75 degrees, while Steamboat was 85 degrees. However, Vail/Breck areas are under a fire watch and Steamboat isnt.

My buddy lives in steamboat and its there. But the car requirements are different than for Denver.
