I'm thinking on trying oceanside.....any good there

I've been there once, and caught a long surge ride from a bar in downtown oceanside into deep camp pendleton.. was gonna call it a night, but before i got to the i-5 south on ramp, i checked for surge, and downtown oceanside was red, so i caught another surge ride to escondido

Its a bit gangstery and maybe not the safest. Be a bit cautious and alert. The areas up there like Vista are spread way out, so Ive had to drive long distances to get to the various pings and thats not always worth it. Sometimes you can go a long way empty to get back out of there. Watch the gas gauge, you can easily end up in the middle of nowhere. Also note the GPS scrambles on military bases. Try to pay attn on how you went in if you end up on pendleton, its easy to get lost & disoriented in the dark.

I live here and can tell you to stay away...long drives to pickup people mostly going less than 4 miles!!! Also, too many newbee drivers paying the 30% commissions and don't care if they make money or not.

trying Oceanside?

Get ready for 25 mile trips at 20 mph through Camp Pendleton.

Going up is bad enough, but the 1 hour ride back with an empty car
is a real bear.

On second thought, come on down!
