Well the insurance and registration should already be in the car regardless. It should always be in the glove compartment. As for the tlc license, I’ve already had it hanging in my car because I heard the TLC can give a ticket for that.

To avoid problems, I’d just keep the documents and ID in my car. I mean how much space does that take up in your car?

If tlc tries to stop you just don't pull over. Just pretend you never even saw them. Keep driving till you get on the highway and then jet.

I could have done that when one of them was standing in the street when he pulled me over. I literally could have done that.

This was back in February 2019. I didn’t know 37th street had the sign on second avenue that you can’t go straight Monday - Friday 7am-10am. After I passed 2nd avenue, the tlc cop was standing in the middle of the road. He was pointing towards the curb so I thought he was telling me to go around him. Then he yells out “yo yo yo I’m pulling you over!”. I could barely understand what he was saying and he took my license and registration and less than 2 minutes he gave me the summons.
