Handy to know and its as I thought it would be from Uber... Its so broken in the last month out there!
I went out in the morning today, let 12+ pings go in the morning for being over 10 mins. Got locked out 3-4 times. Had some crap min fares and after 3 hours, I was 15 mins from home and thought, screw it. I don't need this sh!t today, was broken by Uber within 3 hours.
Recovered and went out in the afternoon for a few hours, let a few pings go, had some good trips then was basically back in my home area again. 3 long pings in a row locked me out, so I logged off and went home.
I don't have a issue with long pings as such, I have a issue that jobs are being sent out with 25 mins ETAs and are NOT SURGE JOBS. If there are no cars within 20 mins of the pax, then it should be surging in that area. Simple as that.

What do you really expect
Free water and mints.... I mean drivers are meant to supply them, so why not Uber staff at meetings!?

Was in uber office today to register my push bike to uber eat, I want to force myself to do some sport and if I can get 22$ an hour for that it could be nice...
Anyways i spoke with one of the managers about long pings and he asked me to send him some screenshots I have like 30 minutes pickup time in praham.
He told me long pings should be in outer suberbs wen pp has no job so they pick up long pings to the city ( bulshit...90% are probably train station and shopping centre )
So pls stop pick them up !!!

I suspect I've been locked out a couple of times, but I haven't had any message from Uber advising of such. Do the lockouts come with an advisory message? Last night I ACRO'd two low raters in a row when I first went online, and sat for 45 mins without another ping. I gave up and went home.
ACROs are bad, let the job ping out......
You just get a mini ban in the background from getting jobs. Hit offline and online again to see if it will let you log in. If on a mini ban, it won't, but will get a error message saying wait two mins.
More Uber bullsh!t..... I get long pings all the time. In boxhill or ringwood and getting 20-25 min pings away, from everywhere from donvale to lillydale, even down to clayton! These are all not 'inner city' jobs.
And Uber if I wanted a inner city job, while out in the burbs, then I would ummm you know, drive myself in to the city to pickup these jobs! I don't need Uber to 'request' me in.
