It was still an ongoing issue as of yesterday. I'm not driving today. To get your money I suggest you call driver support (for one or two rides at a time) and calmly explain the situation and ask that they credit you the missing surge. Sometimes they will do that. Other agents may give you the line that they cannot and that since Uber knows this is an issue, their "specialized team" is working on it and that you can rest assured all your missing surges will be credited when the technical glitch is resolved. I don't accept that and keep calling until I get an agent that plays ball.
The day before I actually got one of these overseas agents to spill the beans a little more on what they knew and how the operate... this guy told me they are allowed to instantly credit missing surges to your account as long as they are reasonable, lesser amounts.... say anywhere from $1 to $6. When it gets to the $11 and above surges (of which I lost quite a few last week) they are not allowed and have to request that the specialized team research and give the credit - that's when you should have screenshots.
Bottom line is I don't trust Uber to credit missing surges, large or small amounts. We are more than a week into this supposed "known issue" and they still haven't been able to fix it or put out any guidance/information to the driver community.
