Hi - anyone not getting paid for surge pricing on trips in the last day or two with Uber? On three occasions I was in a surge zone and the app told me the next ride would give me $5.25 surge. When request comes and I accept it's gone. Have phoned driver support and they say it's a known issue in DC area.

Anyone else?

So this happened again.... Since I was in the surge zone, I turned on my passenger app to look for a similar ride and they were charging surge. This means that Uber is charging the passengers but not paying the drivers. ****ING CRIMINAL SCUMBAGS!!

The most effective way to change Uber's scummy behavior is for the voters of California to vote NO on Prop 22.

The resultant employee status will probably inflict such a costly world of hurt onto Uber that fear will drive them to preemptively make all of the California changes plus more nationwide.

Vote NO on Prop 22.

They are @@@@ing criminals
I had it happen once, yesterday. I completed out a mediocre job with a four dollar and change Charlotte Surge. I noticed that I received only base rates. I was looking for a place to pull over so that I could fire off a nastygram to Rohit when a ping came in that was too far. I declined it, then, suddenly, my daily total had four dollars and change more. I got my surge, just belatedly.

Yes, both Fubar and Gryft are criminals. This is one reason that they are having the troubles that they are in California and New York, especially.

I started driving yesterday after a few days off. After looking at my earnings none of my fares include surges. They are all zero surge even though I had a number of surge trips.

Is this still an ongoing issue? I had a number of large surges ($10-15) that are totally missing.

I screen record all my drives (My phones screen is recorded as a video file so I can easily play back all my actions using my phone and what was on the screen).

I see others are having the same issue. Have the fares been adjusted?

Are surges simply not being processed right now?

Thanks for your help!

It was still an ongoing issue as of yesterday. I'm not driving today. To get your money I suggest you call driver support (for one or two rides at a time) and calmly explain the situation and ask that they credit you the missing surge. Sometimes they will do that. Other agents may give you the line that they cannot and that since Uber knows this is an issue, their "specialized team" is working on it and that you can rest assured all your missing surges will be credited when the technical glitch is resolved. I don't accept that and keep calling until I get an agent that plays ball.

The day before I actually got one of these overseas agents to spill the beans a little more on what they knew and how the operate... this guy told me they are allowed to instantly credit missing surges to your account as long as they are reasonable, lesser amounts.... say anywhere from $1 to $6. When it gets to the $11 and above surges (of which I lost quite a few last week) they are not allowed and have to request that the specialized team research and give the credit - that's when you should have screenshots.

Bottom line is I don't trust Uber to credit missing surges, large or small amounts. We are more than a week into this supposed "known issue" and they still haven't been able to fix it or put out any guidance/information to the driver community.

So your spending 10-15 minutes on the phone to collect $1.25?
