Email uber and tell then to have a manager adjust the fair. Make sure you specify how many miles was the actual distance. Dont let one of the outsourced idiots adjust it because they will give you the shortest route.

I promptly did it, after realizing this complete glitch in the system. The first response I got was the robotic one we normally get it, even though I was very specific about which route I took.

Just wanted to share and see if this happens to others oftenly. Cause I almost forgot to check it, actually. I was wondering if the glitch happened with the client as well.

The "good" thing is I'm always check/recalculating my fares after that.
