Nocturnal Wonderland = New Cancellation Fee policy , i think that may be the reason,
as soon as i got ping from passenger at Nocturnal Wonderland, i would text my space number and hit "arrived"
if no contact and if not at my car in 5 minutes, i would cancel as "passenger no show'
i just got this email:
Hi myname,
We'd like to provide an update regarding some recent Cancellation Fee issues you may have noticed.
Due to some technical difficulties, on an infrequent basis over the past several days some riders were charged a fee for trips that fall outside the Cancellation Policy. This may have caused some confusion over your pay statement, and in some cases, questions from riders.
In order to correct the errors, we have refunded any wrongly charged fees to all riders. However, since this was entirely our mistake, you will keep all payments for these cancellations.

How are cancellation fees charged?
Riders may cancel without incurring a fee for up to five minutes after you accept a trip. Cancellations made after five minutes will incur a fee to compensate you for your time. If you're running more than five minutes behind the provided ETA and the rider cancels the request, they will not be charged a cancellation fee.
If you cancel the trip more than 5 minutes after you've arrived because the rider has not shown up, the rider will be charged a cancellation fee.
We sincerely apologize for any confusion or trouble caused by this error, but you will not see this problem going forward. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns!
