Well, my tips per ride actually much better compare to pre pandemic period. Once Uber introduced personal surge here in California maybe 1 out of 5 or 10 right now compare 1 out of 15 which one used to be. The Quality of riders dramatically increased as well.

In the Capital City South of Your Border, the tips on Fubar and Gryft are the same as they always were: not very good and not often, either. In the cab, they are much better. Most cab drivers are not working, so a cab is hard to find. People here still use cabs.

There is stil a significant CAB presence in the Greater Toronto Area as well.

You had Uber Taxi there for a time, but, I d o not see it any more on Uber's website as one of the choices. Montréal still has it, but, as far as I know, it is the only place in Canada that Uber Taxi still is available. This might be due to CUT Montréal 's (or whatever that agency is, these days) insisting that it remain.

When Hail-O was shutting down its North American operations, the Toronto employees tried to get an agreement out of Hail-O to licence the use of it and they would keep it going. Sadly, they could not come to an agreement. Toronto was one of the places where Hail-O and Uber Taxi were duking it out for supremacy. Boston and Chicago were the other two. It always ran a poor second to Uber Taxi, here.

Even after UberX launched, Hail-O was still doing well in those markets.
