This was the worst "bar let out" surge on a Friday night that I've ever seen. I'm glad I watched it from the couch.

Well, it doesn't surge for bar break anymore. Hasn't since the boosts. 3AM is the magic. Soon as boosts are over, everyone logs off and waits for the surge to build... or at least they used to. Way too many new drivers out there right now. Someone needs to educate them.

I usually catch a couple of good ones between 140a and 215...got stuck in between last night..got a ride from DTLA to Downey and finished the drop off at 150a. ..drove home to LB but missed the bright red surge in LB

I got dragged out to a dead-for summer college campus for 2-3am, and watched some drunk kid literally eyeball me for 25 minutes straight while looking sad and pathetic and messing with his Uber app

And making "oh please sir log onto Uber" puppy dog eyes

Returned the deadpan "son you bore me I'm on Lyft guarantees / no bonus no ride" glare

....kid didn't take the hint and got picked up by a Yaris 30 minutes later. Finally

I gotta wonder, did he think my intrinsic nature and the way my vehicle drives would change utterly if I had switched out trade dresses and gone on to Uber him?????
