It's illegal to record in California without prior knowledge of all parties. Go to Uber News and see what happened to this poor driver. Upload to UP if you can I am not tech savvy.

It IS illegal to record WITHOUT notification, but as long as you have signage, you're good.

Illegal to record AUDIO without consent in California. No laws regarding video.

Can you post the ones that are for lyft instead of uber? I jumped ship. This premier pays well. Especially with tips.

I didn't make any for Lyft. I suppose you could shoop out the toilet seat for a Lyft logo and make the whole thing pink?

I will have the UBER one on my windows, yes. In order to be in compliance with California law and operate a dashcam, you need signage.

I wish/hope it's like that in the whole country. I've seen too many of these video clips that are so biased. The latest example is the one where the driver loses with the lady at the hospital. She seemed calm in the video, but we don't know what transpired during the ride. She could have been really busting chops.
