this is photoshopped. i dont believe it. If its true you dont know how pissed I am at Lyft for not having any options let alone a list of common reasons. I have to keep wasting my time calling them to inform them about a safety issue. Also because Lyft has done jack shit to improve anything. I honestly thought their IPO would improve stuff. NOPE!!!! same shit except their their reps are a lot less helpful.

If you choose it.... you don't get a cancellation fee.
Do you know this to be true as of this past week or so? Just asking because of the overhaul of the cancellation portion of the app recently and I really am curious if that has lead to a change in how they use this data (IE. to pay fees without waiting) or if they are simply changing how they collect the data.

I used it about 2 weeks ago and didn't get a cancellation fee. I didn't wait 5 minutes. It was stupid to wait because it was surging. Still dumb that it has a time requirement considering the reason for the cancel isn't time related.

Have to constantly call Lyft Safety dept about Kids / No Carseat to get the $5 Cancel Fee. Parents won't cancel ride because they get charged.

No no no you can't blame lyft for parents not cancelling. Just drive a little further down the road and wait out the timer and don't unlock your doors so quickly. I don't have to call them for the $5 and I wouldn't want to cuz they are ##@&# now when it comes to paying it. Wait 5min click no show. I've had pissed off parents but so what.

I used to call and get the cancel fee, it was relatively quick and easy.
Since the IPO, Lyft Customer Service folks seem to find new and petty excuses not to pay me the $5.
So if a person has a young child, or is themselves underage and I'm not going to transport them for legal reasons, then I just wait out the 5 minute clock and select No-Show.
If LYFT goes back to the position that they want to know, and are willing to work with drivers on this, then I will go back to helping them
But, through their actions, they have communicated loud and clear that they are only concerned about bottom line issues.
This is how you lose loyalty or support from your employess/contractors/customers, btw.

So the option is here except these low life stupid assholes still won't use it. They think the thing that the baby is in is a damn car seat. It not! It needs a base to secure it in.

Incorrect, the base is not required for most car seats. Though there should be stickers on how the car seatbelt should be used in the case of no base on the car seat

And matter of fact, the video you posted, the car seat has stickers for installing it WITHOUT the base. "Sin La Base" in Spanish says without the base.
