The company loses 3 billion annually. Who in there right mind would own this ?

Investors want assets. UBER has none.

They already said it. Uber has to control driver's ( employees) or own a fleet.
Also, investors want positive earnings or at least the future potential of positive earnings. UBER has none.

If Uber/Lyft go bankrupt you'll have to find real job, for real. And do actual work. With a boss. And pay actual taxes. And a commute to and from, and be on time. The slacking off days will be over, sitting behind a wheel and complaining about it because it is too hard.

Let that sink in, when you hope the ship sinks.

You had to know Uber/Lyft is a pyramid scheme that was waiting to be knocked down. First neither has any assets. Second they were never profitable. Third they treat their main source of income (drivers) like shit.

I was using Uber as a means to an end. My kid turns 18 July 5 and I will be done. At first, 3 years ago Uber was alright, every driver was making money and hardly any complaints except for rude riders. Now it's a totally different ball game.

Uber/Lyft deserves what's happening to them now.

They will continue to operate while in bankruptcy while a new buyer comes in. Do you really drive, or are you just a corporate shill. Everything that you have to say is in defense of Uber/Lyft. You reap what you sow. They screw drivers and now drivers are very happy to watch them get screwed.

Yes .... Uber IPO = Train Wreck ----- Lyft IPO = Train Wreck

If anyone thinks this is not a real job, you're a idiot. Your parents have not taught you anything in life. A job is a job. Not everyone can do this type of job and clock in 8-10hrs a day, 7 days a week or better yet doing two apps UL pushing 20hrs just to feed their family and have a better life. A job is a job.

You trying to say Taxi cabs is not a real job?

With GPS, and not scanning for people (cab pax) with their hand raised up, or reading a meter and processing the payment or writing a receipt, or backing up a trailer into a dock, filling out log books, doing maintenance pre-checks every trip, etc etc etc.

Uber/Lyft is the most brain-dead driving job ever. Everything is done for you and you literally need to do nothing but not hit other cars on the road.
I'll give marginal credit to UberEats drivers for the actual effort they have to put forth outside the vehicle.

Uber/Lyft don't need YOU, they need your CAR. You are not special or valuable, you are just there to operate the car.
Yes, that was a light bulb that just lit up in your head.
