That's hell...even at $5 takes over 20 rides to net $100. I think we all had those days before.Wait till you do four $4 rides in an hour. At $2.40 per trip after Uber's cut, that's $9.60 to you before expenses. Uber on!

Soul Brotha if you read through the posts on this forum, you'd be kinda hard pressed to find a driver with year or two under his belt that is profitable with this attitude. It happens in all business, there's always the guy that can't go without the cash flow, bidding low just to cover the checks he wrote. It gets a little frustrating after awhile to the guys that are in it for profit and to grow thier businessI don't know about you but I took 4 non-surging rides in under an hour and made $40. Don't sound like minimum wage to me or my pocket.
Don't mind them. Do what you think it's best for you. It's your life and you got bills to be paid. They aren't paying your bills anyway.Yeah, I manage to get pretty good tips on most of my rides. You guys just like bullying up on the newbies like myself. Don't cause I'm willing to do what it takes to make ends meet. I might take the crap $4 rides every now and then, but I'm getting my bills paid with this, while my day job takes care of going out.
If you're reading my responses, those are the shitty BS ones he's talking about. Just being nice coz you are new. But if your still here in 3 months, I'll go rogue on your assDon't mind them. Some advices posted on this board are very helpful and some are like shitty and BS. You put them into your strategy to make it works!
Same hereUber pays for my new car, and get few bucks extra, I also have full time job
It's appreciated!First, Welcome to the forum.
Second, Don't take all the negative noobs post personally. It's a generalization.
You've made it to the best spot to learn how to get the biggest bang for your buck. There are many people that can help you with any questions. I think many of the negative noob posts come into play because of the past, they post like they know it all. We really are here to help each other. Just don't get cocky in your posts otherwise pandemonium will break loose. LOL!!
pic or it didn't happen.I don't know about you but I took 4 non-surging rides in under an hour and made $40. Don't sound like minimum wage to me or my pocket.

I already have, and although they are not the greatest, shit happens sometimes. Not to mention either way you look at it, thats $9 more in my pocket than I have an hour ago. Look man you can't expect to make $20/hr everyday for the rest of your life working for a ride share, life doesn't work like that. You complain and talk as if this is a full time job when its not man. It's great if you're a part timer witha day/night job, but if you rely on this as your sole money maker, you have a lot coming to you in the learning department man.
