Hi all,

Thinking of signing up to drive for 6 months whilst I’m on a part time contract.
However I drive a 4 door Renault Clio. This seems to be accepted as a vehicle but I gave a mate a lift on Saturday whose on the large side and he struggled to get in and out.
Would driving a clio be frowned upon or be okay?
Thanks for

I have seen a few cars like this used as uberx cars so im sure you will be fine .
My main point to you would be that after paying $100+ for a working with children check , $90 for a medical , $80-$90 for a car inspection , changing your rego to CTP for rideshare and completing all relevant papperwork - do you really want to do uber ?

I have riders who think that its easy to sign up and go on the road next week .

If you really want to then do it .
Good luck

I often look at the Renault logo and wonder how such a wonderfully simple and elegant shape was chosen. It is timeless and so very attractive.

I believe it is particularly attractive to the male mind as it draws his attention through shape and form perception. Not a lot of imagination is required.

For Renault to then extend that attraction and desire by cleverly naming one of their models Clio, which is so close to providing both the ultimate pleasure was a master stroke.

I would suggest a snug fit in such an environment is perhaps desirable and will provide the greatest pleasure for all concerned. :)

Nobody does it for six months. Once you are drawn into it, you will continue doing it. Ofcourse you will curse, yell, swear at your UBER job and Uber riders in general but you will continue :D

Restarted 2 drivers in our group of 5 cabs tonight.

Both left at the start of the year thinking they were going to make a killing with Uber.

Yes I did warn them.

Yes I did the maths with them.

Yes they left for Uber anyway because they had a friend who told them he was earning 2000 a week with the photo shopped screen shots to back him up.

Yes they purchased new Camrys.

Yes they now have a large debt because of the new car purchase.

They're no orphans and there's a pretty good case for Uber and the others being forced to disclose the current average hourly earnings before expenses when drivers sign up. Uber preying on ignorance is something that needs to be addressed at some point.
