New way PAX can screw us

I get a 1.7 surge uberpoop. The pax calls me and says are you coming? Yeah, as soon as the light changes.I get to pin, no one there, then I swing by the in and out burger and there they are...two girls. Then I take them to there destination, and the one girl says ohhh its just at the end of the street, which means I am driving for free for another half a mile, if I say your pin is here this is as far as I can get paid, I will get a bad rating. So I take them to the end and 3 star their asses.

I don't like pool requests or pool rates, but...you were wrong. If you drove another half a mile, you were paid for the additional distance and time. If Uber had detected you dropped off the passengers at a different location, that would have cancelled their upfront fare guarantee and they would have paid extra. But whether Uber detected their little scam, or not, you are always paid based on your actual time and distance.
I was under the impression that with pool rides you cant change destination or no stops, that it is a fixed rate what they pay.
If they weren't at the original pick up, I would have cancelled the ride and if I saw them at the In n Out, they would have had to re-request ride so that it started in the right place. Am I missing something?

I would have replied, "not anymore", hung up and canceled.

Ok, if I cancell, those girls are not dumb enough to get in my car later, its better to at least look around in the area or call, text them which worked out but got the short destination instead of the real drop off, just beware drivers the foxes are out.

The rider is not supposed to change the final destination. But, drivers don't want the job of playing policeman, risking confrontation or a bad rating. It usually would be better to just bring them to their final destination if it's not too different from the original destination. All this assumes it's not a matched ride. If there are other passengers in the car, it can complicate things.
We have to be fair, so does the rider, so far it hasnt been a big deal as long as we as drivers speak up when they want to divert.and I think I did the right thing because the girls already knew where they were going , they just wanted to save a buck and it can also mess up my next potential fare.
I had a POO ride, two young ladies together and one wanted to be dropped off at a different spot than the other. I re-routed and dropped her off, then the other. The next day, emailed UBER, explained what happened and asked for the fare to be changed to UberX, since that was the service they received. Of course, the first four replies explained to me that when you do POO, the riders get in and out at different places. Finally, someone with more than a seventh grade education read my message and agreed to change their POO fare to UberX.
Poo rides are garbage, but i do enjoy them way more than the Pax that has no idea what they picked.
The fare should be calculated based on what you actually drove from the time you started the trip until you dropped them off. What they put into the app for the starting or end points DO NOT MATTER for the calculation. If you are finding Pool isn't calculating actual miles and time, immediately do a fare adjustment after the trip.
