Lyft put this popup message on my app tonight. "You need 20 ride minimum per week to keep your vehicle."

No problem for me, I always do way more than that. BUT does this suggest there are a lot of renters not even doing 20 rides a week? Why?

It's always been that way here. I know drivers that don't even hit that and then go into the local office to ask for an exception to keep the car!🤦‍♀️

It's just as expensive if you do 21 rides, or 50, or 100.

Renting other than very short term is a bad idea regardless of the number of trips done.

I wonder if you can use that vehicle with other apps to deliver food? Or you could use that to vehicle to deliver pizzas. It doesn't have to be a lift exclusive I guess.

Lyft limits your personal miles unlike Uber Rentals which are unlimited.

The worst is when you hit the 20-ride minimum and still haven’t made the weekly rental cost.

You should only be doing Lyft rental for absolutely need to do it. Dont ever rent through these companies. We are a form a PAC called CORD. Coalition of Rideshare Drivers that one of the demands on rentals is going to be unlimited miles. 20 rides must meet the rental price of the car

You get a guarantee for your 1st 20 trips. If you don't get the price of your rent on the 1st 30 trips of the week, Grift hasta' make up the diff. It looks pretty good but they'll prob. stick an min. accept rate on it & give you all these long trips so it takes you 3 days to do it.
