Biggest tip: Make sure you are actually making money. Realize that driving your personal car depreciates it FAST. And realize that your pay, although looks good on paper is detrimentally low due to the expense of gasoline, mileage, and wear and tear on your personal vehicle. As long as you are comfortable with that, then have fun and be safe!

hello there!! New to this uber world! I'm working the South Bay are but I'm getting most calls to LaX. Any tips for a female driver? I have only had one creepy guy. I tend to do early morning and not a fan of the drunks
You're gonna have a lot of "creepy" people in your car. Be prepared.

Do what makes you most comfortable until yo get a better feel for it. Drive, drop off, find a safe place to park until your next ping. That way you don't burn miles and waste gas. However, there will be times where you'll be waiting for a ping so might have to drive elsewhere where there is higher demand for drivers. 9/10 trust the address given and not where the pin is because you'll be picking up someone in an alley or a side street. Take little breaks for yourself when you can.
