But it probably will be a Camry or Hyundai at Buggy ? I don't want to accept to their application agreement just yet... any advice ? I have over 11 years driving experience in NY mainly Brooklyn not so much Manhattan although I do know somewhat of Manhattan ( probably means I don't know anythin ). Clean record. Wanted some tips from a seasoned driver

Definitely forget about luxury cars. Since you're a new driver 800/week promo (or whatever they call) seems nice so you can get a feeling of the current water. Just make sure about every small details of the agreement and use a credit card, don't let them to withdraw from your bank account.

To the OP, get the two week rental first. I'd suggest you rent for at least this entire summer. Otherwise you're setting up for failure by starting this in the slowest business time of the year for FHV.

I honestly don't know now I'm feelin really flaky. I don't want to give a $100 deposit work off the other $100 cause it's $200 and have to pay for gas TF is the point driving for a base then.

All smartphones have GPS . Use Google maps or Waze if you prefer .
Return the GPS if possible

Uber promotion might force you to be in Manhattan during certain hours and do certain amount of trips originating in Manhattan,
Read the requirements multiple times. They want you to mess up and not receive the promotion
