Just started and trying to understand. Do the new state guidelines eliminate the need for a permit at DFW and Love?

You need a permit at DFW.

You don't need a permit at Love.

Google 'DFW Airport Permit Uber', you should be able to find the information you need to obtain a permit at DFW.

Also, learn to drive surge and when it surges. This is when you can make 2-6x on ride.

If you drive 2am bar crowd. Just logoff at 1:30 and when the Uber map goes dark red, go online and enjoy the ride!

This is specific to downtown fort worth and Dallas.

If you drive events, logoff and when the map goes dark red, go online and get paid!

Wow, thanks for that. I did not know you had to log out and back in to get surge rates.

Surges are fewer and farther between.
Probably because many of these new drivers just drive especially during high demand time. Uber keeps suppressing the surge and drivers keep on driving.

The only hope I have is the saturation of drivers and sub par earnings, lead to more drivers quitting. I expect that to happen mid September.
