New Promos suck!!

I drive full time for both companies, however I started driving for Lyft before Uber. One thing I’ve noticed after a few weeks is that the promos change from week to week, in fact they seem to get worse ( 3 rides streak promo).

Can someone tell me how the promos work? Do they base them off the time you spend online or if you take advantage of the promo and meet the quotas do they give you better ones?

Seems like a bait and switch to me...just saying

I have the two tier weekly ride challenge this week. 44 / 57 rides for $44 / $85. It's my third one in a row since the change.

I had several $6 for 3 consecutive rides last week. 6 out 7.

I am not sure how it works. Ratings, cancelation rate and acceptance rate?

I've been getting the $6 for 3 rides offer, but I never get it... I always get an Uber ping in the middle somewhere, or, Gryft gives me a 20 minute pick up as the 2nd or 3rd offer (declined of course)... I won't turn Fuber off for a $6 Gryft bonus... No no no...

So for quite some time now the quest have been gone at least for me, but just all of a sudden randomly just now I was swiping on the trips and all that shit and a quest popped up that apparently I was on.

I know a lot of that probably doesn't make sense because I'm talking to texting while driving thing right now but I was wondering if that popped up for anybody else there being a quest for 40 trips and 50 trips

Pretty much. Your first month driving is amazing then turns to sh!t. That is the standard bait-and-switch they play on new drivers to make them think it will be consistently profitable to drive for them.

I'm sure the algorithms send a lot of the great rides directly to brand new drivers and anyone who isn't brand new gets the leftover scraps which become a craps throw.
