Looking at buying a new cell phone. Not an Apple guy. I have a S7 now. Don't necessarily have to have a Samsung but staying Android. Any suggestions?

If I was to deviate from the iphone, I would probably go with a ASUS Zenphone or Google Pixel.
I am loyal to ASUS tablets and own a couple of ASUS laptops which have never had any issues.
I would go with the Pixel because of the reviews and comparison to Apple and Samsung.

All joking aside. The Pixel 2 is a great phone, a friend has one and loves it.
Personally, I moved back to iPhone after several years of using Android and am quite happy with the decision. Though I still use Google services for most everything (Gmail, Calendar, Maps, Chrome browser, etc.).

Buy a refurbed Iphone 6 Plus. Perfect size for Uber built like a tank. Mine will be 4 years old this November still works perfectly. Dirt cheap for what you get. Also you can get cheaper service through Wally World.

I'm under contract with Sprint. Been with them for over 10 years. Had an iPhone 6 at my last job. Wasn't impressed.

In Dallas AT&T is the best by far. Walmart discount service is via Tmobile if i recall correctly. Cheaper but Tmobile isn't anywhere near what AT&T is. Call AT&T and ask about available discounts on their plans including for Uber. Hint you'll just use another service. Competition in the wireless sector is red hot so they will deal. AT&T might buy out your contract to win your business.

T-mobile family plan at Walmart. like$44 a month. Just buy one of the Samsung prepaid phones with 16gb $79.00. U should be fine. Backup everything to google. That way when you drop and break it its no big deal. Just go pick up a new one. I have done this a few times... its my thanggg...
and if you just have to have an I phone. you can be cool just like the other 15 year old girlz. just make sure you buy this case so you will fit in !

When they advertise unlimited everything but you only get 5gb of data, that is questionable. That unlimited everything but data.

I saw someone using a flip phone a few days ago.
There no such thing as unlimited.All of them slow down service at a certain point and call It unlimited.The bad thing is that they throttle your speed they put you on 1g.You can't even open a app on that speed.
iPhone the best in holding there value.
