Uber officially announced the new partner app will be available in the next few days in CT. I spoke to another driver today already using the app. The heat map hasn't changed yet. I don't have the new app, but just curious to see how many people have it in CT and when they got it. Please post your observations here having to do with bugs, tricks, and if you can see the new heat map.

Also got an update but didn't see a difference. 3.6.1.2; I'm driving tonight so I'll see if it is actually different. Android, by the way.

Only thing I noticed with yesterday's update is that rider cancellations no longer have a pop up or play an audible sound.

What type of phone do you use? I know with my iphone I have to change the notifications from time to time to allow the pop up and sound.

iPhone 5s. I double checked that setting. The issue has been reported elsewhere on these forums... seems to be for iOS and androids.

Drove last night for a few hours; on the Android version I have noted above, I still got the pop up and noise for cancellations.

Anyone notice that the partner app no longer outputs the fare at the end of the ride? I've had a couple of pax ask me what the fare was and couldn't tell them. NG.
