Passenger asked to be taken to Heathrow, maybe fell asleep and ended up at Heath Row, close to Stansted.

A good command of English is something else that is tested on the knowledge. You can't pass without it. There are both written and aural tests.

To be fair, standard of literacy (specifically spelling) has very little bearing on ones ability to be a good driver. So long as you can read road signs/names it makes little difference.

The correlation between literacy and intelligence is pretty much irrelevant in this game.

any one who was cabbing in london prior to 2003 have used it
but still it has no live traffic and alternative routes on accidents caused by uber

Didn't need live traffic etc so much back then, there were only 25,000 phv's registered as opposed to about 105,000 now
