The new Kluger coming next year. In my humble opinion, price permitting, the Hybrid Kluger will be the ideal rideshare vehicle.

I hear there's an electric kokora out now.Apparently its a huge hit with the ladies. How about the Electric Hyundai Kona?
Try 60K plusAgreed.
Drop $50,000+ as an investment to make $25/hr gross. Make the pax feel like Kings and Queens on their $5 trips.
As a comparison, you can make $27/hr gross at Bunnings with a $40 investment in safety shoes plus get benefits as well.
If you really must drive, Ventura pays close to $30/hr with any black shoes, even $10 Kmart ones.
It's a fun drive but definitely not fun for backseat passengersHow about the Electric Hyundai Kona?
From what you are saying even midgets will struggle in the back seat. It's a fun drive but definitely not fun for backseat passengersmy 5'4 wife had no leg room with the seat position at about half way between fully forward and all the way back
People are too fussy  I remember when I drove a ford focus that I had in the garage for about 5 years and thought I'll try rideshare with it on my spare time I had... Was this giant that hopped in about 7 foot and maybe 250 pounds. He was just a really solid guy right behind me. He grunted that I move the seat forward I said no that he should move seats that doesn't inconveniences me. He just chuckled, obviously not a lot of people has enough balls to talk to him like that. Trip was great. From what you are saying even midgets will struggle in the back seat.
In comparative terms it's about half the available room of my Mazda 3, and at $70k is extremely poor value for rideshareFrom what you are saying even midgets will struggle in the back seat.
Worth it for Taxi but never going to make a cent on rideshare with it  twice as much as camry.I have lately seem lot of Ioniq on road as taxis. Hyundai is brave!
Pssst... crazy! For family, or personal, sure, never for $5.04 station trips in Frankston or the like. Crazy.Try 60K plus
Business thinking. As opposed to showboating "look at me I drive a $100k Tesla for Uber.. LOOK AT ME, HERE, TESLA, THIS WAY, LOOK, I'M HERE, LOOK AT ME".Better value proposition would be to get four second hand Camry Hybrids. Drive one & lease the other 3 out. Should in all intent and purposes pull in an extra $800 per week on top of driving. Work smarter not harder
Be brand spanking new and highly sought after by mothers as they love their cougars... I mean Klugers. I'm expecting dealer delivery charges be a cool ten grand on top of official retail price. Be one SUV 2020 that will not be discounted 1 cent.Pssst... crazy! For family, or personal, sure, never for $5.04 station trips in Frankston or the like. Crazy.
closer to about 170k for one with all the bells & whistles brand new  You got to add the luxury vehicle tax which is an absolute killer.Business thinking. As opposed to showboating "look at me I drive a $100k Tesla for Uber.. LOOK AT ME, HERE, TESLA, THIS WAY, LOOK, I'M HERE, LOOK AT ME".
Are you just doing what uber drivers do ... con themselves into thinking that they are making money when they aren't ?, I can understand Splenda and Maven making a profit by running 10 000 cars but 4 cars, seriously?, you wouldn't be able to sleep at night, be like going to the casino and putting the whole lot on black.Better value proposition would be to get four second hand Camry Hybrids. Drive one & lease the other 3 out. Should in all intent and purposes pull in an extra $800 per week on top of driving. Work smarter not harder
The battery one sure, but low 30's for the standard hybrid IoniqWorth it for Taxi but never going to make a cent on rideshare with it  twice as much as camry.
I had a dwarf hop in the car once.He got in the front seat and pushed the seat with those tiny hands, as far back as it could go.WTF. :confusion::thumbdown:People are too fussy  I remember when I drove a ford focus that I had in the garage for about 5 years and thought I'll try rideshare with it on my spare time I had... Obviously if a giant can squeeze himself behind a ford focus & behind a driver seats... I don't see why anyone else cannot fit in any other seating arrangements :roflmao:
