I signed up to drive last Thursday with Uber. I received an email yestersay 9-15-15 That my account was activated an I can now start driving. My only concern is all of my docs have not been approved like vehicle pictures. An I have not had a chance to do my vehicle inspection as of yet.

Post this in your own market forum. You're getting answers from all over and they're all different. I'm in Houston and needed no inspection to be activated. I do need other stuff to be legal, but that's fir the city. Uber will turn the app on without any inspection. So you need to ask about your specific area.
