Just check the list of approved vehicles too. They've made changes. Certain Prius models are no longer approved.

Ford Fusion hybrids use toyota synergy drive, and are a bit roomier than Prius. Another member made a post indicating that Hertz, i think, sells their fleet cars pretty cheap, and they are usually only a year old.

A Toyota that’s a few years right above the cutoff year. Do it in cash if you can. Having no debt takes a chunk of the stress away with all the other things that comes with this gig.

I don't know what you're implying, but I have a 2018 eco with zero problems runs like a champ 0 recalls and average is 34 miles a gallon.

Wasn't implying anything except when searching for a car it's a good idea to check to see if there are any known problems/history so as to make the best choice. I hope you got the car you wanted. No shade. Relax.

I was providing sound advice to someone who invited comments. Who cares what kind of car you select if you're happy?
If you ask for advice on this forum, you'll find an array of opinions. If you want to read things that you'll agree w/100% of the time....good luck with that & this bunch.

2015/16 FordCmaxEnergi. Best decision I've ever made. But electric here is .09/kw/hr and gas $2.5/gal. The fuel savings alone from my pathfinder covers my car payment
