Anyone know how to appeal a deactivation for delivering for Uber Eats? Long story short I was deactivate because they claim a photo I took they could not see my face. But I think also because I had 2 phones I was using. I did notify Uber that sometimes I would switch my phones. I told them many of times about it.
I had a 99% satisfaction rate, 4% cancel rate and the acceptance rate varies. That all depended on the pay and distance of the orders. With gas prices in California $5 for 25 miles was not worth the trip.

But I want to appeal and get back to work for them. Like I said they claiming it was not me and then said they found evidence that someone else may be using my account to complete trips.
I asked if that was the case why you guys never called me? sked for the evidence and they refuse to give to me.

So as for now I am no longer eligible to use the driver app to deliver food.
But they said I can pickup and drop off people.

Just looking to see if anyone had this problem or know of any way/help I can get to get reactivated.

Thanks

It's a private company.
They can't force you to work for them, and you can't force them to work you.
It's a 'no fault divorce'.
If they say it's over -- it's over.

The sooner you realize that and make Plan B a reality ... the better.
Sorry.
But it's not really over since they allowing me to deliver passengers.

Sorry this happened to you. Use the search towards the top to see if any threads come up with similar issues.

Uber is asinine. They deactivate your Eats because of the selfie but let you keep doing Rideshare. What a moronic company.

Hope you gets this figured out.

The gig is up.
Sounds to me like you were sharing your accounts, and Uber figured it out when someone was delivering food the exact same time someone else was driving a pax.

Welcome to UP.net. You’ll meet plenty members here who were permanently deactivated for one reason or another.

I don't understand how someone fails the facial verification photo, are you wearing a mustache in the original photo but not a new verification, did you shave your head, are you a woman that you wearing heavy makeup in your original photograph but not the verification, are you wearing a hat one but not in the other one, are you wearing glasses on going but not in the other one, maybe two little lighting, here's an important one are you trying to take the verification with your phone landscape mode, it won't work in landscape mode.

I got a feeling there's a lot of fraud going on I'm on the Uber drivers and Uber Eats drivers, especially Uber eats, I mean just imagine a father and son or two brothers or mother and daughter or two sisters they kind of look alike so they try to get away with using the same account, Uber eat for example I've only done Uber Eats a few times but I don't remember any restaurant ever really verifying me just wanted to know what order I was picking up, I find it interesting that you failed on ubereats but you didn't fail on regular Uber,

Uber is constantly asking me for a verification sometimes two three four times a day so I got a feeling a lot of frauds going on.

Maybe some people that fail facial recognition have their heads up their asses…

If there's a local Hub where you are at, I would go in there. You can try scheduling an appointment through the app and do a virtual appointment. The only other thing I can think of is blasting them on Twitter. People seem to have good results with that. Good luck

I know there is. When I was doing delivery, other delivery drivers told me they helped out their dad or other relative. I have also had food delivered with more than 1 person in the car.
