Shit. I need to start doing this. Especially when they are in apartments and don't give me an apt number or they tell me the building is 14 when it SAYS 815 on the actual building.
Right, and then half the time there's no gate code, so you have to wait and try not to hold up the entrance. So frustrating for barely $5 a order.

I did my one and only last weekend. McDonalds. It paid $9. Wouldn't have been so bad if the dumb ass guy didn't offer to buzz me into his building to deliver to his door. Wtf? No I'm not risking a ticket or my life to park in NW DC to bring you a 20 piece nugget to the 8th floor. B****es be trippin...

Right. "Curbside" means nothing to them. I wish they all were curbside honestly. They barely have to lift a finger to place an order, the least they could do is be waiting outside for their food. I would be. I almost do it for Dominoes and the Chinese restaurant that delivers to me. Lol

All is so true. Addresses are different then what uber provides. Its ridiculous. I don't accept Fast food orders only dine in spots. Because where i deliver is a location where the restaurants are only located in that one area. So i focused on delivering from those spots because if you leave it up to the app you will be all over the place, while making lil to no profit. So i location target as i call it, in order to maximize my profit. I can average $13 to $18 an hr with the 1.2x surge where as i was make $20-$25 an hr wit the 1.4x surge. But i don't rely on uber anymore as my only income its now my part part time job,Lol. But all in all ubereats is ok if you can find what works for you. Me i studied my area and the restaurant traffic then developed my own blueprint. Good Luck.

He must have gotten really lucky with tips because there is no way in hell he's making $20/hour on UE. Even if I hit 2 quest bonuses in a week plus tips I still dont come close to making $20/hour
true...here in NYC, you cant make more than $12 an hour even during boost/peak hours. If you get a good trip for let's say $7 or $8, you wont be getting any more trips until the very top of the hour and when you do get it, it'll be around $4-$5. In the off chance you do make more than $12 in an hour by getting 3 trips, the next hour will suck out all the momentum and leave you somewhere around $20-$24 dollars for 2 hours of work. Oh and guys when you email for $5 for lateness, don't do it until the end of the shift bcz somehow the algos calculate that towards your per hour fixed rate and during the next hour you wont be getting trips or really bad ones.

Made that rate having both DD and GH open last night. Never with eats.

This one DD customer ordered Bouna Beef here in Chicago burb and was salty when asked where the main door was so he could buzz me in on a ten story apartment. Good thing there was an elevator as he was on 6th floor. Cracked the door 5" inches and took his food, no thank you no nothing. Smh.

You got $9 for McDonald's????
Yup. In a boost zone. I took two more Eats before changing my settings to no longer accept them. The second was also Mcdonalds on a Saturday night at the one in front of the Verizon Center where the Wizards and Caps play. All parking must be paid for. I lucked up and found a spot about a half block away (I hang in this area and that NEVER happens for me). Order wasn't ready. They waited until I arrived. The only highlight was that the guy lived in an apartment and was curbside when I arrived. That paid $5. Soooo not worth it.

My final attempt was in Bethesda MD to make quest. $4. Still in a place hard to find parking (metered only). Only reason I took it was because it was a Sunday so parking was free and it was a real restaurant so I was curious. The food was ready when I arrived and the woman who ordered was also outside, but too many variables for $4. Better off with a base rate pool. I sent Uber a complaint after that.

it's all about being quick, speed walking, driving etc... so I average 4-5 that's a delivery about every 15 minutes. what I hate is when I am on a roll I gets ping that is 20 minutes away. Then you know that delivery will take about 40 minutes to complete
