My rating went 0.3 points up in last 3 weeks despite;

1) I kicked out a lady from my car as I was waiting more than 5 minutes. I was just going to cancel, this lady jumped in my car. I confirmed her name and then told her as I am waiting more than 5 minutes, so I am cancelling this trip and she has to request a new Uber. While I was saying this, I actually cancelled the trip as "rider no show". She told me she is getting late for work. I said it's not my problem. She said "you are most ridiculous uber driver I have ever seen". I told her "I take this as compliment and now you can get out of My CAR". And guess what I get paid for that cancellation and no report to Uber. Now it's almost 3 weeks.

2) Last night I picked 3 rough looking guys. Usually I maintain my cool and don't bother and judge any one. But I was getting negative energy from them. Anyways, I started driving. One guys ask me to play loud music. I refused straight away saying sorry I am not feeling good to listen loud music and I kept on playing music in low volume. After few minutes, 2nd guy asked me for mints. I had mints in my car but I don't know why I said "sorry uber stopped supplying me mints". Guy replied it's ok 1 star for you". Lol. I didn't reply. After that whole journey they were quiet. Next day my rating went up 0.1 point. What a joke. I was expecting exactly opposite.

Riders can't rate cancelled trips. So you can't get a bad rating from her. She can complain, but Uber will just toss her $10 back and call it done.

Some people use it as a power play.... It brings small delights to them to rate you down. Well thats ok. I can do the same to them!

Next day my rating went up 0.1 point. What a joke. I was expecting exactly opposite.

Uber did something with the ratings mid week. My rating dropped 0.02, BUT I didn't get any new non 5* feedbacks. I record my total trips, rated trips, 5* trips and overall rating in a spreedsheet every few days (along with a heap of other things). I can confirm the number of non 5* rated trips hasn't changed but my rating did!

Also today I got the 50 5* trips in a row email/SMS this morning.... So yeah, not sure what happened, but something has.

Anyhow, don't complain at least it went up.
