I agree ... get the surge while you can. Uber will soon be changing the surge program which will make it more difficult for the driver to get surge fares because they will give the pax a fare quote automatically when they request a ride. That quote will include surge if it is effect at the time of the request. The total fare dollar amount may shock the rider and the will wait it out or make other plans.Um no reason not to accept this money. It's 3.6 you can't deny that
Yes Turner Field was surging and Lakewood was on point with the 3.6. It was long overdue.3.6 surge I can drive in this weather
Do you have a source for this? Reference of any kind or just hearsay?I agree ... get the surge while you can. Uber is already testing giving customers the price up front so they want have tap to agree to surge before hand. I actually think it help Uber X drivers once pax see the price beforehand on select, XL and others.Do you have a source for this? Reference of any kind or just hearsay?

Or, it may work against X drivers if the X platform is in surge and the XL & Select platforms are not surging. At 2,5 surge the pax can move up to XL for the same money.
Either way the drivers are on the losing end of the deal.

Well it will just add to the list of the number of shady things done. I also think because pending litigation is going after surge pricing they appear to enacting change early. If you as a driver don't know what the surge is over standard rate time/mileage, how can you verify that ubers paying you correctly. Sounds very fishy to me...
