I have, but never got that lucky from people I pick up from there. I have received an $180 tip from some military dude + the fare. That is pretty rare, though.

Anyone ever pickup at Amtrack?
I was leaving that permitting hell hole, logged on Uber and 3min later got a ping. Happened to be my first Amtrack pick-up. Lovely old couple... Great fare out to Clear Lake plus a $40 tip.
