Did my best pick up in over 1000 drives. Dropped a passenger in Kew and received a ping 15 mins away at 1.2x surge. Ignored it coz it was surging high everywhere around me. I was cursing Uber at the back of my head and I received a ping just 3 mins away and it was surging at 2.9x! Had to wait 10 mins for this passenger but saw her coming out with luggages and I was a happy boy! She was headed to the airport and i did 141 on 1 trip.

Thing is she asked if she could cancel and request again halfway through. I said I couldn't do it. What would you have done? Would you have done it differently? Anyways, I emailed uber and refunded her $20 as a sign of goodwill.

ahh Danny Driveshare, the guy who thinks hes a depot owner. Mate instead of talking crap like that on a public forum which everyone can see, how about you keep quiet? Everyone knows that the drivers are going for surge which is a really badly kept secret. Of coarse he could start the trip again but thats not the uber way is it. The passenger wil always talk about cost with uber because they have ultimate power over the driver. Uberx drivers will always be exploited. Surge is just another way to bring up prices in this industry. Its been said from the moment uber entered Australia.

Good work. My best fare was in May $150 Warrandyte to Whittlesea. I think surge was 2.6 or 2.8 but no complaints.
50 min drive but worth it.

Had a nice one today $33 from Vermont to Mulgrave 2.1 . Have taken this customer a few times and it leaves me 5 min from my office.
