Keeping the app running when stopped between trips is something we all do, and we're playing a game, texting, reading something, whatever .
Is there a workaround to access the Uber app main screen when we receive a ping, the main screen that contains the map? Hitting the blue "floating" Uber button doesn't bring the app screen with map to the top.
I'll see the pop-up screen to accept or decline but if I'm doing something else, I can't see where the pick is on the map.
Lyfts notification is nicer in that the entire screen comes up with map, location, etc.

Guys if you have some issues with new app, maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling.
