Oh the memories of .90 a mile, those were the days!! No Rose, we are way past getting paid for our services. Now, we pay the passengers a per/mile rate of .50 for the privilege of hauling the precious cargo around. Hope that helps and welcome to the forum!! ?

Lol wait, I'm confused. Is it 0.50/mile or 0.90/mile??...I cannot believe lyft dropped to 0.60/mile....that is sickening and disgusting. I was not expecting that at all!!!!! I thought lyft usually pays a little better than Uber....but I guess I'm wrong...is lyft really on 0.60/mile in Chicago??? I hope the lyft website was wrong!!! Thanks for your help! I'm moving back April 1, 2020

So, it seems Uber pays better than lyft in Chicago? Am I correct? Or maybe my information is wrong? Just trying to see which app i
Should focus most of my time on...I normally run both apps but if lyft is in fact only $0.60/mile in Chicago that is a JOKE. Thanks again

Dear Lord, what a shock you are set for. The rates are the same for Lyft/Uber. But, by the time you get here next year my first post where I stated we pay them instead of us getting paid won't be to far off!!

Ok, thank you very much for clarifying and for your quick response. I was looking forward to making more rideshare money there because right now I'm in Southfield Michigan. There isn't the same demand here and the rides are much further apart. I miss having rides that were less than a mile apart. Anyways, thanks for your help and have a blessed day! ?

$0.51 per mile
Welcome home.

?J/K
It's still 0.90 per mile
Thanks for clarifying! I appreciate it

Your exact per mile depends on whether you are a grandfathered in .20 %, or as is probably the case for you in the .25 % group. Read:

Lol your checking how the rates are gonna be from a year from now? Not to sound rude but you must be really bored... these companies might look completely different in a year from now, the rates I’m sure will be different as well... check back in 11 months lol
