daaymmnn my bum would be sore but you gotta realize it really slows down from 10am-3pm, so I think pulling 200 would be a little optimistic, unless a snow or thunderstorm, but im pretty new myself (1000 rides) so that is my experience.

maybe doing both platforms idk, i only do uber.

Well u would think I'd get more in Chicago it's a massive city. San Fran not that big
It is massive, that being said, you can only do so much during surge fares and boost, standstill traffic and getting back to good places can really blow. I, personally would say no, dont expect 200+ without an act of mother nature, snow storm though i did 350 gross in 6 hours, im sure some people got more

$1.35 a mile in San Fran and $0.90 a mile in Chicago. $200 a day in San Fran is like 8 hours maybe 10 hours. $200 in Chicago is probably at least 15 hours. Good luck.

exactly. i was looking at your per trip as well - thats pretty high, i usually am around 7 or 8 avg per trip so if i did that time, id prolly gross 180 im guessing, thats a weekday, without good (i mean bad) weather

It is big, but the couple of times Ive been to San Fran, I think Chicagos transit system is easier to use and also easier to walk in Chicago too rather than taking an hour to walk up a hill in San Fran so more need for Uber in San Fran. More people here may walk or use the CTA more so less business for Uber.

Lots of people w/cars in Chicago/suburbs. SF is surrounded by water and mountains, harder for suburbanites to get to. + decent and cheap CTA in Chicago.

BART---holy shiiii____ is expensive, makes Uber look like even a bigger bargain.

The best way to make money here is to either do split shifts or to to choose am or pm. The drivers who do best have lived and driven here most of their lives.
The rules of the road are also very different. Be prepared for the idiot in front of you to slam the breaks the second they see a yellow light because the a scared of a camera ticket. If you're downtown and can't get to a location without GPS then you shouldn't be driving there. If you're going 20 mph over the speed limit in the left lane of the expressway move over, you're blocking traffic. If you do get pulled over limit yourself to the terms to get a warning: yes sir, no sir, sorry sir, thank you sir. Lastly and most importantly the single best place to get rides is at the airport staging lots. Go there immediately before you log on.

And the staging lots are just fun parties and a great place to hang 24/7!
