Super confused about MOA. I 'tried' to pick up around 5 rides there after airport drop offs.. but never found the people... I had to cancel every trip but for 1. Embarrassing and a waste of time.

I gather, now, that there are 5 particular pickup places, is that right? Where are they? Really frustrating. Every ride I've tried to pick up brings me to the same place.. a few taxis and a dead end hotel entrance.

HELP!

I don’t do pick ups at MOA anymore. If I do a drop there, I check the airport queue and if there’s too many cars I deadhead somewhere else. Just had too many hassles when I did do pick ups at MOA in the past.

Could have been bad luck. Had a couple of times I accepted trips and there was awful traffic getting in and out of the mall. And had a couple passengers who were not where they said they were, or had no idea where they were. It’s probably fine in general, just not my thing. Did get a couple of girls on 150% PT out of there to DT mpls once so that was a positive.

I wouldn't let a couple of times ruin it.

During the day on Saturday and Sunday, it isn't worth picking up there till after 5 pm. There's just too much traffic going in. If you can get people to meet you on the North side it's easy getting in and out. The trick is getting around traffic and coming in off of American BLVD. However, security likes to **** it up sometimes.

I was there during the earlier afternoon on the weekend, a couple times, and traffic was a cluster.
Sounds like it's a place I'll look at doing pick ups again th0, as you guys are giving good feedback on it.

Uber is pretty good about pickup location at the mall, at least in my recent experience with them anyway. The few times I've had issues is when pax have tagged the Marriott instead of Ubers main pick up location on the opposite side across lindau. Or vice versa.

I agree. No reason to deadhead toward the MOA or airport if the pickup queue is big (>20). I don't ever go to the queue area, either. Too much wasted time and mileage. If I drop someone at the airport, I just drive away. If it's busy, I'll get a pickup at the airport without going to the waiting area. If it's not busy, I'll drive toward DT St. Paul or DT Mpls and get a ride within 10 minutes. Or I'll drive past the MOA toward Eden Prairie. Under all circumstances, I make sure to drive where the traffic isn't.
