It's 4.40, but don't worry about getting deactivated, there's always a way back on. Just make sure the people at the office do not remember what u look like so this means never go see them.
I wonder if he was there the following week, also once u go below 4.4 they call u in for training and if the rating doesn't improve after that training they deactivate u
Its a shame that you cannot contest the bad rating these stupid customers give you, and stupid Uber won't even understand your side of the story. And Dub666 is right, don't get them to remember you, as you can re join with different email and number as I heard on this forum.
Obviously uber are gonna change something soon as it's been mentioned on the web and uber monitor the web!

Most of bad rating I get from people that are late. More you work, more good rating you get, less chance you rating will go down. Mine overall is 4.82. Thing with rating Is just personal. I drive same, polite with everyone (bear in mind some people don't like to talk), smooth on brake, alway shaven and nice perfume....but we are not the same. I do not pay attention what my rating is.
its not yout fault that they are late they are stupid if they rate u bad because of that but i do agree you are more likely to get a bad rating from someone that is running late because u didnt get themthere fast enough even tough traffic etc
I'm on 4.6 and have been since after the 1st week of starting with Uber.
I know I'm giving a good service and I'm always polite and even open the door for passengers getting in and out (where possible)
I think it's wrong that the passenger can rate you whatever they like. I believe there should be a sort of minimum cap rating i.e. if I arrive at the drop off location within the ETA time they should only be able to rate a minimum of say 4 stars. Then if the passenger really has an issue with something else with the trip/driver then they can contact Uber directly.
These drunk/uncaring passengers are able to get in my car, make loads of noise and mess, get out, then rate me 1 star! Big LOL
To be honest I'm not really bothered about what my rating is, as long as I don't get deactivated, I'm sure riders are not cancelling on me because my rating is lower than average
