I had a fare last night that was $4.19. On the website it tells pax that the minimum fare is $5. What am I missing?

Yes, gross fare. That's what was odd.

They factor in the 20% uber fee. It's a wake up call for sure. When you see your trips, always deduct the 20% uber fee - a bit on the ridiculous side, unless they are doing us a favor and putting it toward the income taxes we will eventually be responsible for. Which is highly unlikely.

I'm well aware of the difference between the gross fare and the net.

That's definitely odd for sure. I would email them. Perhaps it's an error b/c that $$ amount doesn't make any sense from a gross standpoint.
