Are any of you using mileage apps?
If so which ones?

I been using stride drive as it logs your mileage automatically but I'm not sure if this is best practice or if this app is more suitable for American based ride sharing contractors.

I've also run across TAXBOT app which is a monthly subscription but it does say in its details that it is CRA friendly. It also does auto mileage tracking like STRIDEDRIVE.

Thoughts and feedback much appreciated.

Thank you :)

There are plenty of apps that run on your phone. Check out Sherpashare
I know about SherpaShare and you are right there are many but my question is most of these apps are USA friendly are they also good for Canadians and out Tax Purposes?

Like will using these app help my case when filing taxes with an accountant or will the accountant tell me these apps are not valid and I must log manually as they are for USA residences only...

Thanks

You don't understand how hard is to develop such a habit unless you have one. I can never be so organized. I drive to my work with destination feature on. On my return sometime i just turn it on here and there. I don't have a fix routine to get out for uber. If uber app or some other app can track it from the moment i login to i logoff that's my true business km.
Check out STRIDEDRIVE

That's what I current use

You do exactly what you said.

There is also Sherpashare & Taxbot but these are both paid monthly subcriptions

Stride drive is free :)
