My favorite pax are middle aged blue collar type workers. The heavier the Boston accent the better. Most of my big tips have come from that sector of the population.

But yah i'd say as a whole middle aged people are the best tippers. Most young professionals still think that tips are included in the fare, so I rarely get tips from that group even though they are the majority of riders.

Picked up three 50+ white females at the Opera House last spring. Their rating was 3.9 or even 3.7.

Not sure why so low a rating, as they were fun, flying in to different cities to meet each other wherever/whenever Cabaret was on stage.

Yeah, the other day I picked up a lady around that age with a rating around 3.5. She was super nice and later I found out she had given me a $5 tip on a $4 ride. I used to not pick up pax with a low rating, but recently, knowing that the pax could be very pleasant but received a very low rate due to the fact they did not tip, I generally don't look at ratings that much anymore as I feel their rate does no longer provide a fair representation of whom they are as a person, which so far has really been a wise choice as I picked up several low rate pax who turned out to be some of my best ones. I know I will get burned sometimes too, but I have picked up high score pax before who made me crinch.

Picked up a 4.2 3 older women today. I tried to start a lil covo but epic fail. They talked to each other as I never existed. I rated them a 2 star. I have fun with low rate riders but only pick up riders under a 4.5 a few times a week, but I find out that 70% of them are pricks.
