So I reached out to uber in regards to the metal program since im not getting any incentives at all and this is what they said:

"Thank you for writing into Uber support team. Happy to assist.

The incentive that you are talking about is a weekly basic.
For you to qualified for the incentive you must be active online before 6 AM on Mondays."

My question is this true and what have drivers with metal status have to do to get the best guarantees?

Never heard of that bullshit. Uber support is just there to **** with you. They are worthless.

What they are saying is that you had to have driven the previous week to qualify. You can't start from zero and expect to get a platinum incentive. I give 95+ trips a week to keep my platinum status.

I do not recall the last time that I was AWAKE at 0600, never mind being out on the street that early. I get incentives. I did make it to Silver for one week, but usually I am at Bronze. As Congress is on its way out, I am going to try for a promotion after this week.

30-50 id do more but it seems like pings arent coming in like before and I sit for prolonged periods in "surge" areas with no hits so it seems like im being bumped out for newbies who pay uber 25%.

I haven't driven in a year and got platinum boost for last 3 weeks. Will drive as soon I get my inspection, probably will take the boost away then knowing uber

Yeah!!! You are getting officially screwed! You should probably skip a week or two. Then they'll dangle you incentives.
