Filled up my car at this gas station near the West Portal station this morning. This nice guy approached me and started talking about Lyft and whether all the bonuses were attainable.

Before he could say another word I said, "Look I hate this job honestly, and the only reason I do it is because I'm used to it."

Told him I used to make 300+ on a good Friday or Saturday night....now I'm happy if I see $150 a day driving 40+ hours a week.

He proceeds to tell me I'm doing it all wrong. He's drove 12 hours and he "can't wait" for Cinco De Mayo this weekend.

Little does he know 5,000+ ants have the same idea and will come up to SF from all over California, to drive 12 hours and then sleep in the back of their car like this guy does.

It's sickening how brainwashed we are.......

He's right..you doing all wrong. Beggers can't be choosers. Take them all..let Uber use you. I feel if you take all rides that come at you..they will reward you with good rides. It's proven. Lol

Any regular job paying $25/hr will pay you OT after 8 hours.

So, 8 x 25 = 200
4 x 37.5 = 150 for a total of $375 plus benefits
