I never thought I would like the TLC after they sent their agents to give tickets to New Jersey drivers. But I couldn't have said it more plainly myself. "In its response, TLC acknowledged that Uber charges 37 percent more today than in 2019, but it said the company is keeping money earned from fare hikes to itself rather than passing it on to drivers."

Every year inflation goes up. This is normal and expected. Every year it seems a company's charge more. However every year, the same thing happens to the workers.....

They don't get shit.

driver's need backup job's in life...i can change how i work everyday to work around the shit they do, after awhile its so hard to do. i am a wav driver so it helps me..xl too, but my costs are much higher than x xl only..

A few years ago the TLC would have an undercover officer standing at JFK and LGA in the dropoff area holding a sign "need a ride to New Jersey". Some Jersey driver would bite, thinking it's a paid ride back. Instead, they got a $1000 ticket.
